The Environmental Defense Fund recently announced the availability of the new California Green Economy map, which plots the location of 2,200 businesses in the state by category: energy generation, energy efficiency, green building, and transportation.
Tim O’Connor of EDF said, “As Congress considers a federal climate bill modeled after California's Global Warming Solutions Act, this map gives local members of Congress a preview of the footprint of the green economy, both statewide and in each district." Source: Environmental Defense Fund
The companies included on this first-of-its-kind map can be sorted by city, county, and congressional district. Learn more about the map by visiting the EDF website: Mapping the Green Economy: California.
