Yesterday, the National Clean Energy Summit 2.0 was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The panelists included former President Bill Clinton, former Vice President Al Gore, green jobs guru Van Jones, and many others.

After the event, Clean Skies News interviewed Jones about the event. The interview is now available online. While there is no way that the information covered during the day-long event could be condensed into a single interview, Jones does a great job in providing a recap of the summit for those who missed it.

Although full-length videos of the event aren’t available, the Senate Democrats have published a nearly two-minute video of Jones discussing how clean energy will provide green jobs.

Clean energy jobs are definitely on the rise in the United States. A recent report from the Pew Charitable Trusts shows that the increase in jobs in the renewable energy industry far outpaced traditional job growth on a national level. In some states, the difference is even more drastic.

For those who question the link between clean energy growth and job growth, I encourage you to watch the Jones video embedded below.
