Trashwood Transformation Transcends Tradition
Discarded wooden objects are probably the most useful items commonly sent to whatever trash disposal site your community process requires. Often without any thought given to the wood material's potential value of reuse through any kind of formal recycling program. Even the odd pieces of surplus wood that most households discard throughout the year can be put to good use somewhere.
The objective of every woodworker should be that of giving such material a second look to properly recycle it wherever possible, if only to add it to the green side of the economic ledger of benefit to humanity. This, beyond the obvious demand for its rightfully honored place on every woodworker's ledger of project expense.
Our objective here is simple. We wish to make the value of this material known to as many people as possible so that as little as possible of it will continue to be wasted.
Let this be a place to share our success and pride in making use of as much of this material as we have been able to secure and put to use in our personal lives. Then, we can invite others to join our adventure.
That said, it is not time to invite your comment and suggestion in order to make that last sentence legal my my use of the word 'our' have a true meaning.
