If you have a pet parrot you should be concerned about it's health and happiness. After all many parrots live as long as humans do, and when we keep them as pets we take on the responsiblity of all aspects of their well being.
To help these exotic birds that are kept in our homes fight boredom we should give them things to stimulate their need to climb, chew and forage for food.
There are many bird toys out there, but the best toys that you can provide for your feathered friend are ones that makes use of their natural tendancy to climb, chew and forage.
The best of these toys utilize the very same natural substances that a bird might encounter in the wild.
Things such as Coconut shell, husk, bamboo, cuttlebone, vegetables, leather, and oyster shell, un- altered wood etc are good safe choices.
