I had my interview for the Environmental Coordinator position at CSC this morning, and I guess I could say it went well...you can never be sure about this type of thing.  I would be the liason between the EPA and the lab that analyzes samples at Superfund sites.  Pretty interesting, and I don't even have to come into contact with the toxic samples!  Even though I cannot see myself working in a cubicle for more than a year (I'm a very outdoorsy person), I need to start my career in the environmental field somehow.  If I could be outside, meeting with clients about ways they could improve their office/life to be less wasteful, I would love to do so.  That is basically my dream job.

But truly, I think all of the talk about power companies getting in the way of renewable energy initiatives is true.  They have so much (everything..) to lose if people did not need to buy electricity.  We live on a very powerful planet, I believe, if we could only learn to harness 1% of what it has to offer then I think we would already see vast improvement.

Enough for now, have some more exploring to do on my new MNN account.  I have been reading articles, but didn't know that registering could be so coool.
