Late afternoon leisure time for a foxy friend
Among the many beautiful wild spaces in our National Parks system, Katmai National Park stands out for its high concentration of wildlife, especially salmon and the brown bears that feed on them. A visitor would also have a chance of spotting gray wolves, moose, beavers, martens and of course, red foxes. Because the park snugs up against a bay, there are sea otters, seals, whales and orcas to spot as well. Katmai National Park certainly teaches a person to sit and enjoy the scenery, and even the wildlife act as tutors for slowing down and taking in the moment.
