Baby groundhog gives mom a big kiss
Little groundhog makes sure Mom knows she's loved
Photographer Larry Keller writes, "For the past six or eight years, we have had a family of groundhogs under our tractor shed. Each spring the babies show up about May 10th or 12th, five weeks or so after they are born. This year we saw no signs of babies, and thought for sure they skipped this year. On May 26th, the mother brought her litter of five out into the yard for the first time -- like many things this year, about two weeks late." It was well worth the wait to see something as cute as this! Have you had little animal families in your yard that you've watched year after year? Let us know in the comments.
