The most adorable belly buttons you'll see today

A trio of 9-day-old white lion cubs show off their pudgy bellies while being held by keepers on July 9 at the Himeji Central Park in Hyogo, Japan.

The white lion cubs represent a single litter out of three (a total of seven cubs!) that were born to different lionesses at the zoo last month.

This news is especially joyful considering there are only about 300 white lions in existence. White lions are not albinos — they are the result of a rare color mutation in the Kruger subspecies of lion. Although they are endemic to South Africa, the majority of these fair-furred cats reside in zoos around the world.
