Watch: Gecko saves gecko from snake
An empathetic reptile risks its own life to help a friend in need.

Reptiles may be cold-blooded, but that doesn't mean they're cold-hearted. Consider this gecko in Rayong, Thailand, which risks its life to save a fellow gecko from a snake.
(Note: The video is a little slow to get going, but that adds suspense — just listen to the onlookers' excited squeals. If you can't wait, though, skip to the 1:40 mark.)
The video's uploader offers this context on YouTube:
"We live in the countryside and see snakes every once in a while. The Geckos have lived there for years. I walked out of the house 1 day and saw the snake wrapped around the Gecko. We didn't dare to go near it when it happens. Just glad the Geckos were ok."
No word on what happened to the snake, but it presumably didn't get to save 15 percent or more on car insurance.
