Watch: Puppy wrestles with cheetah cub
A young dog tangles with one of the Cincinnati Zoo's smallest big cats.

Apparently this happened Thursday morning at the Cincinnati Zoo:

The cheetah cub is an 11-week-old female, named Savanna, that was born at the zoo in June. She and Max the black lab will grow up together as "play partners," according to the zoo's YouTube page, frolicking in this pen at the Cheetah Encounter exhibit.

If you're worried about Savanna taking out her frustration on Max when she's older — especially over that running tackle at the 1:28 mark — she has at least demonstrated a soft spot for dogs, too, as seen in this earlier video from August:

That's cute and all, but wild animals belong in the wild. They are not here to be born into captivity (captive). They are not here for your ridiculous entertainment. The cheetah is the fastest animal on earth for a reason: to catch fast prey. Instead their being pent up in small enclosures. We’re not studying a species here. We’re keeping an animal from it’s true destiny: a life of freedom, a life all it’s own. If your kids want to see a cheetah, turn on the discovery channel. They can learn
.... More
about the animal in it’s real environment. Not some from miserable, captive place. For once, stop thinking about yourself.
