A flock of penguins dressed up like Santa Claus and Christmas trees waddle down a street during a holiday parade on Dec. 18 at Everland, the largest amusement park in South Korea.

South Korea is the only east Asian nation that recognizes Christmas as a national holiday. Christian and non-Christian Koreans alike celebrate the holiday by exchanging gifts, caroling and participating in church services.

Penguins weren't the only critters to show their faces at the annual parade! A fennec fox — an adorable creature endemic to the Sahara desert — also made a brief cameo.
