Opisthostoma snails

Opisthostoma is a genus of tiny land snails with some of the most fascinating shells in the snail world. Many species from this genus have shells that twist in complicated, tangled axes, but the species that takes the cake with the most profound shell might be Opisthostoma vermiculum. Its shell has four coiling axes — the most for any known living gastropod.
