9 children raised by animals: Amala and Kamala

If it realy was a hoax, then why didn't National Geographic say so in the documentary about feral children?

Wikipedia.org is not a reliable website and things on it should never be taken seriously as anyone can change, alter or delete whatever they want. I know this because one day I decided to edit the page on the Civil War. It wasn;t changed for nearly 4 months.

Wiki is more reliable than it was a couple years ago and considering the fact that edits are streamed I highly doubt you made a dubious edit and it wasn't changed immediately....especially on a heavily visted page like one pertaining to the American Civil War. Also, the citations given in wiki articles are usually legitimate. Your defense that story can't possibly be false because of wiki is a logical fallacy.
Amala and Kamala was a proven hoax.

the fact wiki can be changed makes it unreliable regardless of how long it's been on the internet. the information on there may be correct but it still has to be taken with a grain of salt despite its sources. instead, use the info cited on the sources listed, not the wiki page itself.
i've been out of college for a few years but we could not use wiki as a source when i went.
