SinarapanThe Sinarapan is the world's smallest commercially harvested fish, and is rarely longer than half an inch. They are native to the Phillippines and found in only a few freshwater lakes and river systems. They're prized as a food source in Asia where they are fried in oil, boiled with vegetables, or dried and salted. In addition to having to dodge the fisherman's net, Sinarapan are under threat from larger invasive species that find them as tasty as humans do.

:O there so small!
Philippines. Just had to correct. :)
Mmm Sinarapans.
Has anyone ever eaten smelt? It reminds me of this fish. They are a fish that resembles a salmon but are normally 2 - 4 inches...normally deep fried...whole. Lol! Maybe its just a Michigander thing.
They aren't so bad, they taste like fish, except smaller and crunchier when cooked on a range.
How funny! I can't picture myself eating those.....or, rather I can picture myself eating them and then barfing, they look like pieces of guts!
must be a small net
