Polish Simba
Ten-month-old lion Simba and his owner, Leszek Bielenda, embrace on Jan. 21 at Bielenda's estate in Glogow Malopolski, Poland. A Polish court declared that Bielenda can keep the lion cub as a pet in his house, where he has built a special enclosure. It is generally forbidden to keep dangerous animals as pets in Poland, so Bielenda had to register his home as a private circus to remain legal.
