My dog hates material things ... so much so that he rips them apart whenever he gets the chance. He reduces kitchen waste by 85% and even eats compost. He would spend all his time outdoors if he could; he has explored most of the preserved land within a 20-mile radius of his home, and much prefers rivers and lakes to the bathtub. It makes some of us less-green hangers-on uncomfortable, but he has also been known to recycle poop from a variety of living things.
