Winter tweetering
A flock of common redpolls, a species of finch, rest on tree branches covered in ice in Sugar Maple, Vt., on Feb. 6.
Native to Iceland and Greenland, redpolls migrate south for the winter to southern Canada and the northern regions of North America.
