Avian rehabilitationA laughing gull (left) and a brown pelican (right) rest on May 15 at the Fort Jackson Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, southeast of New Orleans, La. This center was set up to protect and rehabilitate wildlife affected by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Until the oil spill, a total of eight seabirds had received treatment at the center.
