Giraffe mother substitute
A keeper of the Biopark Zoo in Valencia, Spain, feeds a male baby giraffe on May 20. The newborn animal — rejected by his mother at birth — is a Rothschild giraffe (also known as the Baringo giraffe or as the Ugandan giraffe) and is the first one of the named subspecies to be born in the park.
