Butterball workers charged with animal cruelty, vet tipped them off
Dr. Sarah Mason told a Butterball staff veterinarian that an animal protection group had an undercover video depicting the abuse of turkeys.

She breached rules in place to protect and uphold ethics, yet she only receives two weeks off? She should be fired for failing to have responsibility to allow accurate investigations to occur. The treatment of the animals seen on the farms is unnecessary and disgustingly cruel. Evidently you have never dressed either chickens or turkeys. In the old days, Mom stepped on their necks and pulled. Our neighbors would wring their necks by circling them around in the air. My dad always used an ax. And we could dress about 20 birds a day. It wasn't considered cruel, it was a necessity. That's what we ate. If you are around birds enough, you know how difficult they can be to handle.
They are poor, stupid animals who are killed for our food source..there is no reason to abuse these poor creatures..those who do are cowards, and deserve all bad things that happen to them
