This isn’t the chocolate found in your typical grocery store checkout aisle. Taza Chocolate’s bars and Mexican-style disks are made from pure, dark chocolate that’s 100 percent organic and gluten, soy and dairy-free. And unlike those bland milk chocolate bars punched up with extra sugar, Taza relies on gentle roasting and a traditional stone-grinding process to coax out the full flavor of each ethically traded cocoa bean, creating a unique texture and intensity. The dark chocolate disks can be eaten alone or mixed into steamed milk to create the creamiest hot chocolate around. Considering Mother's Day is right around the corner, the timing couldn't be more perfect to test out a bar.
