The exhibition has an accompanying web site which has a flawed poll. The email confirmation system on the poll does not work. Info about the poll appeared on the Anthony Watts web site, as a result someone set up a computer to vote thousands of times in the 'count me out' vote.

The Science Museum Should be Ashamed
The previous commenter is quite correct. The poll was stuffed by over a thousand votes on the "count-me-out" side and by more than 3000 votes on the "count-me-in" side. Polls like this are worthless in scientific terms but make great political talking points. This one was as political as they come.
