2012: Apocalyptic eye candy
The new trailer for the movie 2012, set for release in the fall, is a minute and a half of world-ending awesomeness.

There are few movie genres I like better than post apocalyptic flicks. This preview for 2012 blows my freaking mind. Man.

Want to know how to cut our worldwide emissions really quick?

2012 is a movie coming out in November starring John Cusack, Amada Peet, Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson that tells the story of the survivors of a worldwide cataclysm.

There are theories that an ancient Mayan prophesy predicts a major "armageddon would overtake the degenerate peoples of the world and all creation."

I'm going to start building my boat in the backyard this weekend. I'll be riding out that sucker. In the meantime I'll be catching this flick in the fall to help me prepare for the mile-high tidal wave.

It was a good disaster movie, but it only focused on a few parts of what could happen; tectonic plate movements, tsunamis. It neglects a a key possible disaster, most likely they most difficult to survive: solar storms. But for a movie it was pretty good. Now as to whether 2012 really happens or not, it's best to be prepared. It is better to spend some time preparing than to dismiss it altogether. If we prepare and 2012 catastrophies happen, there is a chance of survival. If we didnt prepare at all….

chances of survival would be very low. I think those who don’t have survival experience would do well to learn some. Start off with this short guide on How To Survive 2012 for key survival tips. Really helped me, and I know nothing of survival.

So how will WE write it? How shall it read when we look back on December 21, 2012? We certainly have the elements in place to destroy ourselves. The planet has experienced cataclysmic events in its history - polar shifts, ice ages, etc. No one really knows. What the Mayan's meant with their End-Count calendar will always be up for speculation. It fires the imagination, for sure. SOooo let's write it like we want it. That is what Chris Fenwick did in the #1 Visionary Novel: "the 100th human." You
