Climate change creationist and all-around extreme rightwing hack Glenn Beck was recently on The View and got BURNED by Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters. I'm no fan of Beck, and it was wonderful to see him get absolutely ripped apart.

Watch, here's the first part:

And the second:

Barbara Walters was awesome when she asked Beck about his convictions, when he finally oozed out an answer, it was devoid of anything substantive:

"I believe in God. I believe in the founding of this country. I believe George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson were geniuses."

Beck. Blech.

2 1/2 pit-bulls in their own yard against an invited guest is not regal nor classy talk TV, it's called Jerry in heals, revenge TV and there are enough utubes showing girls fighting unfairly that I don't need to watch it from a show I use to trust. I removed them from my TVO immediately and wont ever look back. Poor guy- I was embarrassed for the ladies, not the guy who embellished a weak story-

How was his answer to the question about his convictions "devoid of anything substantive"? I think his answer says a lot about him. 10 seconds isn't enough time to go into great detail. You can read into the few sentences he said and derive that he believes in God and that the founders of the country had great foresight and that the constitution is a document that should be followed today as it was intended to be when it was originally crafted. We wouldn't be in the mess we are today if we just
.... More
continuously followed the constitution. In two sentences he was more substantive than your entire post.
