Just in case you missed it, here is an excerpt from the Climate Reality Project that aired this week. This particular clip draws a powerful connection between those who denied that cigarettes were harmful to human health in the '60s and those who are denying that climate change exists today. It certainly left me with a lot to think about as we head off into the weekend.
I would love to hear what you think.

In response to the connection made between the denial of tobacco's harmful health effects and denial of Global Warming, check out the book - Deadly Spin, written by Wendell Potter. In his book, Potter writes that the most powerful public relations spin machine was created by the tobacco industry. Today many corporations are using the tobacco industry's public relation methods to "...manipulate public opinion and dodge regulations."
This is a sad video - sad because I could make the opposite statement with it and it would have the same emotional impact. You could argue that big government and big environment groups are funding scientists to raise the spectre of global warming to motivate trillions of dollars of economic change in their favor. "I believe nicotine is not addictive..." LOL
