Revelers covered in blotches of powdered dye celebrate the Indian festival of Holi on March 17 on a boat cruise around Manhattan in New York City.

 

During the Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, participants throw colored powder and water on one another to celebrate the start of spring.
