I have to admit his points on the harmful affects of human population growth are rooted in truth. He clearly had some mental issues, however, and did not understand that environmental policies can't be based entirely on one book. I have to hope his insane tactics will not have a negative impact on the legitimate efforts of environmental groups across the country.
Here in Aus, state of Victoria. We had the same kind of imbecile in the 80's which he has called himself the "ecological rainbow warior". He has taken as hostages small childrens from a primary school, & had the same loony raving demands upon the society.
Today he still is in a very secure mental asylum held at Her Majesty discretion!

As mad as he may sound, there are some truths to which this man speaks of.
One, especially here in America, is the filthy third world hyper breeding which is occurring at an alarming rate. We are being overrun by the least educated, most primitive and socially inept cultures of the world and they are having the majority of the babies to continue the undermining of a nation.

Problem: those babies you are inveighing against have negligible impact on the planet. Compare the lifetime environmental impact of a baby born in a Nigerian village with a baby born in New York. Sorry, you can't duck it...
