Artist crafts tiny solar-powered brass engine

Master artisan Szymon Klimek crafted an amazing tiny brass engine powered by a small solar panel.

Mon, Nov 23 2009 at 10:19 AM EST

Szymon Klimek is a craftsman and artist who builds tiny brass miniature models. It's jaw-droppingly beautiful work made all the more amazing by the small scale of his creations.

Mr. Klimek lives in Poland and grew up in an artistic family. In 2004 he built his first brass 3-inch long locomotive. Since then he's built over 100 other miniatures, including this awesome solar-powered brass engine housed in a classy glass goblet.
