Forget washing dishes to pay for your meal, at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers in Denmark you can pedal a bike to fill your stomach
. The hotel is installing electricity-generating bicycles and will award any guest generating 10 watt hours with a free meal from their menu, worth up $44 (240 Danish crowns).
10 watt hours is not much, a fit cyclist on an efficient bike generator could crank that out in a handful of minutes, it could take an average hotel guest just 10 to 15 minutes. All in all not a bad deal for guests and a cool little marketing scheme by the hotel.
