Bug power is greener power?
U.K.-based designers James Auger and Jimmy Loizeau think so. They've designed an LCD clock that's powered by dead bugs. Their clock has a flypaper roller that captures and then scraps the stuck bugs into a fuel cell where they are digested by bacteria, creating enough power to run the clock.
Mr. Auger and Mr. Loizeau have created a handful of other designs that are powered by both bugs and mice. Here's a quick video showing some of their designs in action.
Pure awesome.

I've been spinning a story on Twitter which involves the use of a special grain, which blips in and out of different dimensions, for power. (The blipping in and out creates energy, which is harnessed). Now I'm wondering: should I patent the idea? of course I'd have to find the grain first...
A weird yet hopeful post - thanks!
