Scavenger hunt: Win a pair of New Balance 070

New Balance is helping me give away three pairs of the new greener 070. It's scavenger hunt time!

The good folks over at New Balance (makers of my favorite new shoes) gave me a few extra pairs of the greener NB 070 to give away to my readers.

So I'm having a little virtual scavenger hunt to pick the winners.

I have three pairs of the New Balance 070's to give away. You pick the color and the size if you are one of the three lucky winners.

To win you need to find one of three images that I'm going to scatter around my archive throughout the day.

They look like this:

I've hidden #1 already, I'll drop the others at roughly two-hour intervals (so #2 will go live around 1 p.m. EST, #3 at 3 p.m., give or take 15 minutes).

To claim your prize, you just need to be the first person to email me the location of the image.

As an example of what to look for, I dropped this sample graphic:

If that was a winning piece, the first person to email me (at sheagunther@gmail.com) with the url "http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/energy/blogs/green-hell-steve-milloys-c..." would win that pair of shoes.

So go, go forth into my archive and hunt. Find image #1 in one of my stories and win a pair of shoes. Tell your friends about this little contest and come back at 1:00pm to take a wack at winning #2, and then again at 3:00pm for #3.
