I wrote about a cool gadget a few weeks ago called the Tweet-a-Watt that connects a Kill-a-Watt, a plug-in energy monitor, to Twitter, the microblogging platform that everyone and their grandmother is talking about, to show all your Twitter pals how much energy your pulling out of the wall. The Tweet-a-Watt won the top prize at the recent Greener Gadgets conference.

Treehugger has news that the Tweet-a-Watt is now available for sale to the general public. You'll need to buy your own Kill-a-Watt and drop $90, but that's all that stands between you and green geek nirvana, in 140 characters or less.
