60 minutes for the planetFirst organized by the World Wildlife Fund in 2007, Earth Hour is an awareness event that asks individuals and businesses to turn off all non-essential lighting between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. on the last Saturday of March. Since its inception, it has gained global recognization with 126 countries participating.

Well, the earth hour went pretty well here this year as well. All the lights which were not essential were turned off between 8 and 10 pm making it 120 minutes for the planet this time. I think three more countries have joined this time. Anyway, thanks for the pics. The Palace of chickasaw culture and Science seems to be blending well in the night. LOL! I will post some pics of mine here next time!
The planet of the green earth should be saved from pollution as it gives us so many resources.
