Well, to be honest, I am pretty much awestruck to see republicans in favor of Mother Nature. GOP history seems to be having many resource conserving and land protecting initiatives. I only wish the republican people of the current era such as people like Sen. Lindsey Graham were half as environmentalist as his republican predecessors! But then again, I do not think one person alone could trigger something here. The other members of the party should also be involved!

AMERICA IS COMMIE CONTROLLED
A national crime syndicate controls American political whoredom. From the Wilsonian Presidency unto the Obama administration, the pro-Marxian precepts of social engineering, through public and private education, has been some what infiltrated with a line of preselected individuals, of whom, as a class, undermine our Republic via being wire pulled, by an invisible government of universal pseudo religious philosophies, of Oriental occidentalism..... You also have to remember that before Teddy Roosevelt, Republicans were liberal and Democrats were conservative. It seems people keep forgetting this.

Electing today's Republicans can have dire consequences. Dick Cheney is responsible for size, duration of oil spill ... Blocked $500,000 remote shut-off. . http://shar.es/mGoWL

Green GOP

A week after Sen. Lindsey Graham backed away from supporting his own watered-down climate bill, it’s useful to understand that Republicans haven’t always been the party that says "No" to Mother Nature.

Indeed, GOP history is rich with land protection, resource conservation and all manner of legislation and regulation to reduce air and water pollution. Maybe if the partisan descendants of the following 10 granddaddies of the Grand Old Party reflected on the environmental achievement of previous generations of Republicans, current officeholders would gather up the courage to counter the party’s current anti-environmental orthodoxy.
