The latest big name set to blast off is none other than Lady Gaga. According to US Weekly
, the pop star will ride aboard Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo in early 2015 and perform a song while floating above Earth for something called the "Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival." The three-day event will take place at the home of Virgin Galactic in Spaceport America, New Mexico.
“We're on the brink of something groundbreaking,” Zero G Colony’s website reads
. “An ambitious event never seen before by mankind or on planet earth. A music experience that is truly out of this world. It will be big and it will be epic! Be a part of it.”
A source tells US Weekly that Gaga will bring her entourage with her on the shuttle. She's also taking steps to ensure she's not going to sound completely awful while floating around the cabin. "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere," says the source.
