Those auroras aren't just natural light changing into unusual spectacles with ionesphere changes and other atmospheric events. They are actually the miracle work paintings God presents in the skies. they really are artistry God makes. theresa noelle younan ymma-iii interpole galactica i-pic younan research management.
beware though sometimes they may mean that you have to rescue some situation connected to you. it is sort of like the extreme opposite of screamy scary stuff. but it.... More

They didn't list the best place in the world to view the aurora, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Yellowknife sits under the 'Auroral Oval' which offers the most consistent viewing of the lights over the viewing season. Have seen it many times myself in this area, spectacular!

These Auroral lights are pretty for sure! Beware of their dangerous side... an auroral event in 1859 brought the lights as far south as cuba. The same event today would cause a world wide catastophy. See coronal mass ejections.

The Northern Lights are amazing, just like the hemp cannabis plant (marijuana). Our local chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, "Northern Wisconsin NORML" incorporated the Northern Lights into our organizations logo. www.NorthernWINORML.org

The world's biggest light show

The flickering lights over our northern- and southern-most skies at times seem like a mystical offering. Good ole northern lights (aurora borealis) and southern lights (aurora australis) — visible 65 to 72 degrees north and south latitudes respectively — are actually just natural light shows that exist in our ionosphere.

Scientists say auroras are created when a solar wind of charged particles from the sun crashes into the Earth's upper atmosphere over the polar regions. As a result, auroras are generally spotted closer to the north or south poles. You can see them here. (Text: Katherine Butler)
