A rational person may infer that God does exist by virtue of the existence of the many wonders in our universe that man is able to study and observe. If God did not exist there would not be anything for man to study and man himself would not exist to develop any kind of arguments, logical or otherwise.

"A Star is born."
Kierkegaard wrote that to infer that God exists because nature is so marvelous and complicated is as fallacious as the ontological argument, existence being a necessary attribute of a perfect being. Such logical arguments are tautological, their conclusions implied in their presuppositions. Religious presumptions are rooted in faith in the absence of sufficient rational grounds.

Thus we should believe Kierkegaard simply because he said it? Above what anyone else of faith says? How do we know Kierkegaard is correct? Perhaps his statements are also assumptions. I still prefer my "religious presumptions" which are, in fact, rooted in "faith." Rational or not. I have "faith" that my car will start every day when I turn the key. I have "faith" that the chair I sit in will support me. Sufficient rational grounds for my "faith" ... I don't know. I only wish I could ask Kierkegaard
.... More
what he thinks.
Just my own thought. Done posting.
