The perfect stroll

This gorgeous walk is on Cumberland Island, a national seashore bursting with wildlife and scenic views. Photographer Catie Leary writes of Cumberland Island, "There's some much to do on the island, whether it's hitting the beach, going for a hike, exploring historical ruins or just kicking back under the gorgeous live oaks... Cumberland Island is filled with a diverse range of wildlife, including armadillos, wild turkeys, vultures, manatees, sea turtles, white tail deer, bobcats, otters and so much more."

Want to know just how much we love this unique and special place? We've listed it in 5 invigorating springtime hikes, in Top 8 U.S. safari destinations, and featured it in Cumberland Island: 10 don't-miss activities for this undeveloped southern paradise.
