#FollowFriday: Finding good green Twitterers

Here are some good greener folks to follow on Twitter.

Happy Friday! There's a tradition on Twitter (if such a thing exists on Twitter) for people to share other great people to follow with their list of followers. Every tweeted recommendation comes tagged with #FollowFriday, it's a great way to find great Twitterers.

Here a few great green Twitters who I follow who you should add to your list.

• OliviaZaleski is host of CNN Money's Business of Green and a great Twitterer. She uses her account to interact with her audience and often solicits questions for the big wig business people she interviews.

• Ecorazzi is the Twitter account for the web's most popular green celebrity site.

• GreenGirls is Apple Levy, founder and head of Green Girls, an LA based site focused on sustainable living for women.

• CarbonHound is my pal Ted Rose, a green energy entrepreneur and ex-radio journalist. He's super smart and covers developments in the renewable energy world.

• RShreeves is Robin Shreeves, one of my fellow MNN bloggers and a freelance writer and eco-mom extraordinaire

• MotherNatureNet is MNN.com, the best green website in existance, and I'm not just saying that because it's where I work. Ok, maybe just a little, but we are a hell of a great site and MNN's Twitter account is no exception to that.

• GreenDig is another great MNN blogger Karl Burkart, green tech and social media wizard, podcaster, and proprietor of Green Dig, a great site to find green news around the web.

• EcoChickie is my friend Starre Vartan, the brains behind Eco-Chick, one of the best green womens sites around.

• MaxGladwell is the Twitter face of Max Gladwell, a site that covers the convergence of green and social media. Max Gladwell came up with the idea of #EcoMonday and is a great account to follow.

I wouldn't be a shameless self promoter if I didn't throw my own hat into the ring, you should follow me @sheagunther.

And don't forget #EcoMonday, the specifically green version of #FollowFriday. It was kicked off here a couple of months ago with the Great Green Twitter Follow Parade, another awesome place to track down green Twitterers. I also highly recommend visiting the list of people that @EcoMonday follows, they're all people who have been mentioned in an #EcoMonday tweet and thus are highly likely to fall solidly on the greener side of life.

Happy hunting.
