Get into the "Granite State of Mind"

A new comedy video takes to the woods of New Hampshire to sing that state's praises and manages pull off mashing up Robert Frost with Jay Z.

Any video that mashes up Robert Frost and Jay Z is good in my book.

My pals at the Super Secret Project (some of their videos tend to the adult side of the spectrum of comedy, don't click over if you get easily offended by swearing, sexually explicit dialogue, dog marrying, Santa Claus, or pimped out Honda cars) made a really funny tribute to New Hampshire (where I was born and raised) and mashed up Robert Frost's "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening" with Jay Z's Empire State of Mind.

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep

You gotta see this video (it's entirely safe for work and features zero dog marriages), especially if you hail from the Granite State.

Long live the Old Man.

And nice work name checking Sarah Silverman, Seth Meyers, and Adam Sandler.
