A reason to head to the mountains
The photographer, Guy Schmickle, writes that this was the view near their camping area at Porphyry Basin in the San Juan Mountains, a range in the Rocky Mountains in southwestern Colorado. The Porphyry Basin sits at about 12,600-12,700 feet in elevation, and, as you can see, boasts an outstanding view. If you need some fresh air and quiet space to recharge your batteries, this amazing landscape would do the trick.
