Last week I sat down and recorded a podcast with my friend Nick Callanan, the brains and driving force behind No Umbrella Media, a Portland, Maine-based media company that focuses on telling stories about real people having fun in the Great Outdoors. No Umbrella is well known around the Maine outdoor sports scene for its large annual print edition as well as frequent podcasts, blog posts, photographs, and videos online.

Nick is a fellow car-free bike rider and one of the hardest working creatives I've met. No Umbrella gets more value out of a buck than almost any company I've ever seen and produces nothing but quality content.
