Not an April fools joke: Congressman worried Guam could 'tip over'
Rep. Hank Johnson, the honorable gentleman from the 4th district of Georgia, is concerned that putting too many new U.S. soldiers on Guam could force the island to 'tip over and capsize'.

I'm not sure if Democratic Rep. Hank Johnson
was setting himself up to be the butt of April Fools' Day jokes or not, but either way he made it there. Watch this video of him in a committee meeting with Admiral Robert Willard, head of the Pacific fleet, worrying that the island of Guam would tip over if it became too heavily populated. (They were discussing adding 5,000 additional troops and their families to the military base there).
This dude makes $174,000 a year.
