Check out this truly-crazy video of thousands of fishermen lining up for a crack at a fistful of of fish in Lake Antogo in Mali. After a blast from a starters pistol, they make a mad rush for the middle, herding the terrified fish before plunging into the water with wide fishing baskets and probing hands. Everywhere you look there are fishermen, it's hard to imagine that any fish survived. The sacred lake is only open to fishing once a year.
