11 ways the world could end: Electromagnetic pulse

"90 percent of all Americans could be dead within a year". I looked at the EMP Commission's report. Where are you seeing this?

I look through both reports and the only 90% reference is as follows:
"Significantly, this exposure would cause radiation sickness to
the astronauts within approximately 1 hour and a 90 percent probability of death within 2 to 3 hours."
This is in reference to the ISS (international Space Station)
this was in the Critical National Infrastructures Report.

electricity free would end the world "as we know it." how's your horse & plow today?

Nowhere in the Congressional EMP Commission report does it project a list of casualties. The report is here ( http://www.empcommission.org/index.php ) for those with the journalistic integrity to actually READ it. Ahem.
On top of that, EMP pulses pose no danger to living organisms. So, you know, they don't kill people directly. All right?

"If such a blast occurred over the United States, 90 percent of all Americans could be dead within a year, according to the Congressional EMP Commission."

Every second point in this article is "electromagnetic" something or other, I heard most of these. I will say this though, humanity has lived without electricity before, got forbid we have an "electromagnetic" disturbance and have no electricity for a few years. Might do the world some good considering that we have a greater threat of dying due to the morons and duchebags on the planet now.
