Yellowstone is so incredible, the family & I have driven across the country from Maryland 3x to spend 3 days there each time. The trip also allows for a lot of other stops including Badlands National Park, the Black Hills Area (Mt Rushmore, Bear Butte, Custer State Park's Buffalo Herd, Mammoth Site, Devil's Tower), The Little Bighorn Battlefield, and there's often a rodeo going on somewhere along the way in the summer.
