Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve
The heart of Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is a dune field that spreads out for nearly 30 square miles. Great Sand Dunes has the tallest dunes in North America, but people who've never been there might be surprised to know that beyond the dunes there a numerous creeks and streams, mountains, grasslands and even wetlands.
