However, the pronghorn still have grazing competition from cattle. Pronghorn browse on leafy green annuals and not grasses, so competition for food with cattle and reduced foraging range are both issues for the species. Between cattle, farming, and droughts, finding enough forage is an ongoing challenge for the pronghorn.
