A place to sleep

Haitians carry a mattress in a tent village for the homeless installed by the Portuguese Civil Protection in the Delmas district of Port-au-Prince. The camp is being prepared to house 615 persons or 84 families. Haiti's president Rene Preval has asked the world for 200,000 tents and says he will sleep in one himself, according to new reports from the Associated Press.
