A young child clings to a relative on Jan. 24 in a makeshift tent city where her family is living in the aftermath of the earthquake. Haitian government agencies have announced that about 400,000 people who were left homeless by the quake will be moved from makeshift camps to resettlement areas created on the outskirts of the city.
